From the Host: Today on Feminine Roadmap guest Shannon Grissom talks about how flexibility is your midlife superpower. Shannon has had three major events disrupt her midlife which helped her to realize the key to thriving was to stay flexible. She firmly believes that you can follow your dreams while in the middle of all that life throws at you. While it may change the way you thought it would look or how it would happen, she encourages listeners to stay their course. One of the key shifts that can help is to move from judgement to intuition. Check in with yourself and ask how you really feel instead of just powering through. It’s important to recognize your limits, set boundaries, and honor yourself. Another valuable shift is to consider what you have always wanted to try the just make a decision and do it! We are not obligated to stay on one path for our whole lives so be brave and make a change. Don’t be afraid to switch gears and ask yourself, what’s next? Midlife is a time to tap into our superpower of flexibility and being willing to change paths, experience new things. It’s time to stop judging what we’re doing and being bogged down by the shoulda, woulda, couldas. Now is the time to be more intuitive and follow your curiosity.
