The Difference Between Oracle Cards and Tarot Cards

Oracle cards tend to get lumped together with Tarot cards but there are some major differences. Tarot cards are very structured and typically contain 78 cards. While the author and artist vary with each deck, the basic meaning for each card is the same no matter what deck you choose. For example, if you pull the Fool card in a tarot deck, it always signifies a new beginning.
On the other hand, oracle cards have no set rules for content. They are typically themed-based. You’ll find decks that feature topics like sacred Geometry, Angel Cards, and even Sock Monkeys! I enjoy them both! They are fantastic tools for self-reflection and divination.
