What exactly are oracle cards anyway?

For many years, oracle cards have been a part of my daily regimen. I’ve been working with them for so long that sometimes I forget that some folks have not yet encountered this wonderfully inspiring tool.
Oracle cards are a deck of cards that are used for inspiration, self-reflection, creative prompts, divination, and or just plain fun. How they are used is up to you. I like to pick a card and ask, “What do I need to know today?” I’m always amazed at how spot-on they are.
From Fairies to Angels to Sock Monkeys oracle cards come in all shapes and sizes. I have several decks and each morning I select from the deck that calls me the loudest.
