Hi, I’m Shannon Grissom, the creator of the Sock Monkey Oracle!
What inspired me to do this deck?
Our Mom
One day, in response to a painting competition, I created a still life painting as a tribute to my late mother. As I thought of items that would compose the still life, I remembered Mom’s sock monkey.
Something magical happened when I started to create the first sock monkey painting. During each session, I felt I was channeling Mom’s love into the artwork.
Well, that felt good, so I kept painting! Over several years, close to 50 paintings emerged.
During the pandemic lockdown the text was channeled, and presto, the Sock Monkey Oracle was born.
